Modern Warfare 3 Bans Increase
Activision is ramping up efforts to ban cheaters from Modern Warfare 3.
“Any attempt to cheat, hack, or glitch in #MW3 will not be tolerated. 1600+ bans issued. Updates in works. Please cont. to report offenders,” the studio said on its Twitter account.
“We are doing mass bans on PC as well while we work on updates.”
Modern Warfare 3 sold 6.5 million copies on its first day of release, but the game has been struggling to deal with hackers and other cheaters.
This trouble has been aided by the face the online multiplayer service, Call of Duty: Elite, is not fully functional.
